Last Thursday 9th November 2023 the senior club AGM was held in the clubhouse at Caerleon RFC. There were some re-elections of existing club officials along with some new faces of whom we are delighted to announce have come onboard with the club.
The make-up of the senior club’s officers and committee members are as follows -

There are also some updates we would like to bring to the attention of our members -
Constitution Amendment -
Changes were made to club membership for the season 2023/2024 to avoid this years' confusion over youth membership. When a youth player reaches the age of 19 he will be required to pay full membership of £35. However, if he is in full time education and living away from Caerleon / Newport area there will be no charge.
Under 18's cannot be FULL members due to their age (no voting rights etc). Therefore, if the parents of a youth player under 18 years of age are FULL members (having paid £36) there will be a charge of £10 for that youth player.
If the parents decide NOT to join the club (which we hope wouldn't be the case) and DO NOT pay the £36 there will a charge of £25 for that youth player - we believe this is a fair amount of membership to pay and a way forward next season.
We have a new membership secretary in Stuart who will be implementing this new system next season.
