Hope you’re all well. As you may know, The Club has been experimenting with opening up for drinks between 3pm and 6pm on a Friday afternoon over the past 6 weeks or so. Although we’ve had a couple of decent days, generally it hasn’t really been well attended. The Committee want to supply a service but obviously we can’t at a loss.
This Friday (29/7/22) will be the last one unless there is a surge in users or suggestions of how we can carry on. We are always looking at ways to promote the Club and in the summer break we always see some great parties here. If you want to hire the Club (free to members) or have an idea as to how we can open and be sustainable then the Committee are open to suggestions. The New Season is approaching us and it could be an exciting one.
Membership has returned to pre COVID prices but no overall increase in senior fees. We are hoping for an AGM early September, the first for 3 years due to, you know what? If you wish to attend, watch this space for the date. So, for now, ta-ta, see you soon and stay safe.
