This weekend, commencing Friday 4th February is a busy one for Caerleon RFC.
On Friday 4th our senior side have a local derby away at Usk RFC. The match is a ‘friendly’ but neither side will be taking a backward step with local bragging rights in the ‘Battle of the Usk Road at stake. The match at Red Shed Meadow kicks off at 7.15pm.
Then on Saturday 5th the clubhouse at The Broadway will be open from 12 noon ready for the start of the Six Nations Championship. Reigning champions Wales get the action underway in Dublin against Ireland, kick-off at 2.15pm.
This is followed by Scotland v England in the Calcutta Cup at Murrayfield, kick-off at 4.45pm - all the action shown live on the screens in the club.
We are pleased to bring you some food and refreshment offers on the day whilst you enjoy all the action - a ‘double’ happy-hour from 4-6pm where all draft beer will be £3 per pint for members, £3.30 for non-members (John Smiths £2.50 and £3 respectively).
There will also be curry served after the Welsh match.
Sunday the 6th the club will be open once again for some of our junior age groups who are playing at The Broadway from 10am onwards, food and refreshments will be available.
