Caerleon RFC are sad to report on the sudden untimely death of Adrian Jones, aged 56 years on Thursday 12 th October 2017.
Adrian Jones started his senior rugby career at Caerleon RFCwhere he played for many years, some seasons as captain.
Ade won Welsh Districts caps before moving to Abertillery RFC and Ponypool RFC where he played for a number of years in the Welsh Merit league.
Following his retirement from playing Ade coached Caerleon Youth RFC before stepping up to coach the 1st team for two years.
During his coaching years Adrian was also a publican in the Red Lion, Caerleon and the Waterloo Inn,Nash where his larger than life character will be remembered.
Details of his funeral have not been released at this stage but will post once this has been confirmed.
